Each year, our Year 6 pupils have the exciting opportunity to take part in a residential visit, creating unforgettable memories while developing confidence, independence and resilience. This year, our children enjoyed an action-packed stay at Laches Wood.
Throughout the trip, pupils challenged themselves with a wide range of adventurous activities, including high ropes, rock climbing, bush activities, axe throwing, archery and many more exciting outdoor experiences. These activities encouraged teamwork, perseverance and problem-solving, while helping children step outside their comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment.
At Butts Primary School, we believe that residential visits are a valuable part of our enrichment programme. They provide children with experiences they may not otherwise have, helping them to build lasting friendships, develop important life skills and create memories that they will cherish for years to come.
