Ambassadors

At our school, we are proud of our Ambassadors – groups of enthusiastic pupils and staff who are committed to inspiring others and raising aspirations across the school community.

What are Ambassadors?

Ambassadors are pupils who take on special leadership roles within the school. They help to promote key subjects and areas of school life, while developing confidence, responsibility and teamwork skills.

These are exciting and rewarding roles. Pupils are invited to apply for positions that interest them, take part in a simple interview process, and work collaboratively within their teams to plan and deliver activities.

Types of Ambassadors

We have a range of ambassador roles, including:

Reading Ambassadors – promoting a love of reading, recommending books and supporting reading events.
Eco Ambassadors – encouraging environmentally friendly choices and leading sustainability initiatives
Sports Ambassadors – supporting physical activity, organising games and promoting healthy lifestyles
Subject Ambassadors – representing areas such as Maths, Science, Art or Computing

Each group plays an important part in making our school a vibrant and engaging place to learn.

What do Ambassadors do?

Ambassadors meet regularly with their staff lead to share ideas and plan their work. They play a key role in ensuring that pupil voice is heard and valued across the school.

Their responsibilities may include:

	Organising events and themed days
	Planning and running competitions
	Supporting school activities and clubs
	Judging competitions and celebrating achievements
Leading initiatives to improve their area of focus
Acting as role models for other pupils

Why become an Ambassador?

Becoming an ambassador is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to:

	Build confidence and leadership skills
Work as part of a team
Share their ideas and make a difference
Take pride in contributing to school life

We are incredibly proud of the positive impact our ambassadors have on our school and the wider community.
